Help via visit is a way to experience community with locals indiginous to the Yakumamay reserve. Our guides, Don Gilber and Danny are happy to be your guides. Our guides can take you through the forest giving you access to the primary and secondary forest. They will teach you how to recognize trees the way the locals do - by touch, taste, etc.. You will sleep in huts and see animals of the Amazon.

Students who come and who are proficient in Spanish can also get involved with work in the medicinal garden or with preparing remedies. This could be an exceptional experience for a Gap Year, or Gap Month, a summmer project or even a career break.

We ask that you please contact us before visiting the reserve.
